Festival of Postgraduate Research, a Bristol Doctoral College event
Anson Rooms, Richmond Building
*Bristol Doctoral College event*
This year's Festival of Postgraduate Research will take place on Thursday 30 April 2015 in the Anson Rooms, Richmond Building.
The Festival of Postgraduate Research is a university-wide event designed to help build a postgraduate research community, showcase the postgraduate research taking place at the University and encourage collaborative research across all disciplines. It provides a space for current postgraduate research students to meet other PGRs, and to find out about the support and opportunities available during their studies (and beyond).
There are three main ways that postgraduate research students can present their research at this year's Festival:
- Poster competition
- Research clusters
- Opposites attract challenge
In addition to showcasing postgraduate research, there will be a number of 'on the day' events that you can take part in.
For full details, please visit the Festival of PG Research website.
- 2.30 - 4.30pm Open to all postgraduate research students and UoB staff to find out about the research taking place and the support available at Bristol.
- 4.30 - 6.30pm As above but open to all UoB students for a range of research presentations and an interactive demo of Danceroom Spectroscopy. This is an opportunity for UGs and PGTs to find out more about postgraduate research and what it's like to do a PGR degree at Bristol.
