Widening participation and digital diversity at University of Bristol: A one day conference for Bristol staff and students

2 November 2015, 11.00 AM - 2 November 2015, 4.00 PM

4.10, 35 Berkeley Square, BS8 1JA

A one-day Bristol-based conference on the Digital diversity, learning and belonging project (DD-lab) on Monday 2 November 2015 at the Graduate School of Education. The conference is free of charge and lunch will be provided. The project is about widening participation once students have begun their studies, specifically at Bristol. Thirty-one students (from across all six faculties) worked as co-researchers on the project for 18 months and several of them will be presenting and sharing their experiences.

DD-lab is funded by UOB’s widening participation research fund. The conference will focus on the key outcomes and implications. It will give members of the wider university community an opportunity to ask questions and help us to explore the potential for translating these findings into practice. This is particularly critical given the changing landscape of higher education and wider society.

If you would like to attend, please register by emailing Bernardita Munoz Chereau on edbmc@bristol.ac.uk as soon as possible and no later than 29th Oct.  Please state any dietary requirements.
