Charlie Tweed

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our sixth EarthArt Fellow, Charlie Tweed, is a Bristol-based video, sound and performance artist with a particular interest in digital media.

Charlie, who has a PhD in Art Practice from Kingston University, has previously been funded through awards from the Wellcome Trust, for a collaboration with biomedical scientists, and from AHRC. His short films have been screened at many international events, including the Paris/Berlin Film Festival and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. While an EarthArt Fellow he will be working with Tom Williams and his research group. His six-month Fellowship starts on 1st April and will culminate with a show in the late summer. Details of this event will be circulated nearer the time.

This Fellowship is made possible through a generous donation from Sarah Robinson in memory of her late husband, artist David Robinson.
