Research summary

My current research interest consists of improving our understanding of the global marine silicon cycle, the variability of which may have important implications for marine ecology and atmospheric carbon dioxide uptake by the oceans. I am currently working with the Earth system model, cGENIE, to reconstruct the global distribution of silicon and its isotopes in the marine realm and how this distribution varies through climatic changes.
