My interests include imaging fractures to ensure safe underground storage of greenhouse gases, monitoring hydraulic fracture stimulations for tight and shale gas, and in using numerical models to understand the geomechanical behaviour of hydrocarbon reservoirs in response to production and injection of fluids. I am particularly interested in the role that fractures play both in modulating the geomechanical response, and in turn how they are affected by stress change.
