Few venues can offer a conference backdrop that can rival the Wills Memorial Building for style, elegance and panache. It is also one of the biggest venues you’ll find, and offers a variety of meeting rooms which are available throughout the year.
Standing tall above the University complex at the top of Park Street this ornately carved neo gothic treasure is a true Bristol icon, and makes a dramatic and inspiring venue.
Your delegates will be awed as soon as they enter the building. A sweeping double stone staircase and carved stone vaulted ceiling leads to the impressive Great Hall, and other splendid rooms, all with acres of carved oak, panelled walls and lead windows.
In demand as a venue throughout the year, the catering team is very experienced at looking after delegates, and at dressing the hall or function room to the highest standards. Groups of between 60 and 270 can be seated, which means there is plenty of capacity for even the largest events.
The Great Hall offers a space of 424 square metres, and the Reception Room a further 177.6 square metres, so a great venue for large exhibitions.
Wills Memorial Building was recently cleaned, revealing a warm glow to the stone. Coloured lighting was also added inside and out, which all adds a touch of magic to the venue.
