Michael Wisnom, Director, reports on news from the Advanced Composites Centre for Innovation and Science over the past year:
This year has seen the award of two large EPSRC grants which have helped to cement our relationships with other leading universities in the UK: the Creativity in Composites Engineering Programme Grant with Imperial College on High Performance Ductile Composites, and the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Composites led by the University of Nottingham, together with Manchester and Cranfield universities. National Composites Centre (NCC) staff have now moved into the iconic new building on the Bristol and Bath Science Park, and ACCIS researchers are working with NCC both on projects and as part of the permanent staff.
