We have a very good piece of news to start the year. In October, the Centre was awarded ESRC Research Centre status, the only new research centre in the year in a very tough competition. With it comes the security of long-term support and a recognition of research quality.
The CMPO, founded with two large-scale grants from The Leverhulme Trust, will now go forward as a joint centre combining core funding from both the ESRC and the Trust. The aim of the Centre remains the same: understanding the right way to organise and deliver public services.
