Controversial plans to cap tax relief on charitable giving were discussed by Professor Sarah Smith, from the Centre for Market and Public Organisation, on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme.
The decision by the Coalition has continued to receive strong criticism since its announcement in the Budget last month. Professor Smith has previously carried out research into philanthropic giving.
