Social influences and charitable giving
Friday 24th February 2012, 10am - 4pm
Conference organiser: Sarah Smith
Conference programme (pdf, 125 Kb)
Individuals' decisions about how much to give and which charities to give to are affected by the behaviour of other people around them and the communities they live in. These social influences on giving are the focus of a one-day workshop that will bring together a number of presentations providing new evidence and insights. A closing panel discussion will draw out the implications for policy and the sector.
