This research will provide a significant contribution to Barclay's flagship Community Investment Programme Barclay's Money Skills. The Barclay's Money Skills Programme aims to tackle and build financial capability through helping people to manage their money day-to-day, plan for the future and cope with financial pressure. The programme will adopt a number of mechanisms to support and develop peoples' financial capability to help them to better manage their finances, including; strategic partnerships with the third sector, resource development and staff volunteering. Over the next 3 years, the University of Bristol will be evaluating the programme. The ability of Barclay's to measure and demonstrate the impact of their programme is vital and this studentship will support the evaluation through identifying measures that are appropriate to inform the evaluation.
