Introduction
The economic impact of the third sector: A capacity building cluster.
This initiative is funded by the ESRC, the Office of the Third Sector and the Barrow Cadbury Trust as part of a major investment in third sector research. The cluster is hosted by the CMPO at the University of Bristol.
The initiative is intended to build research capacity both in the academic community and in the sector. The cluster offers opportunities to develop partnership projects between third sector organisations and academics, focusing on economic impact. The aim of these projects is to help organisations to assess the impact and value of what they do and to use data and analysis to improve service delivery

- CASE studentships
- Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
- Research Fellowships
- Small Projects - funded by Research vouchers and MSc Internships
