Ben Moore - Finance Manager
Ben graduated from the University of Wales College, Newport in 2001 with a BSc (hons) in Business Administration. He joined the University of Bristol Finance Office in 2001 before taking up the post of Finance Manager in Clinical Sciences in 2004.
In 2009 Ben was seconded to the Department of Community Based Medicine (now part of the School of Social and Community Medicine) to take on a Finance Manager post there. He currently works in Social and Community Medicine for 4 days a week and in Clinical Sciences for one day a week.
Dan Hancock provides full time cover for Ben's post in Clinical Sciences.
Main areas of responsibility
Financial management including:
- Project costings
- Grant applications
- Account management
- Overseeing financial processing
Ben provides cover for Glenda Willcox in her absence.
Working hours
Ben works full time. He works from Learning and Research at Southmead Hospital on Mondays and from the School of Social and Community Medicine for the rest of the week.
