Spectroscopy Tours 2012 promote chemistry to schools

Students enjoy spectroscopy interaction

Pupils from local schools enjoy some spectroscopy interaction

Sixteen schools, with 340 Year 13 chemistry students and 25 teachers, enjoyed this annual event which is designed to support local chemistry teachers and to promote chemistry. 

21 postgraduates as guides and demonstrators together with 5 members of staff delivered 11 half day sessions of analytical chemistry under the title of 'Spectroscopy Tours'.
