Sven Fritz wins prize at the RSC Heterocyclic & Synthesis Group Symposium

Sven Fritz won the prize for Best Postgraduate Oral Presentation at the RSC Heterocyclic & Synthesis Group 27th Postgraduate Symposium held at the GlaxoSmithKline site in Stevenage on 18th September.

Sven beat off stiff competition to win a £100 Amazon voucher plus March's Advanced Chemistry. His talk was entitled "Bromoethylsulfonium triflate: tale of an annulation agent".

Earlier this year Sven's talk also gained him the runner-up prize at the SCI Regional Postgraduate Symposium on Novel Organic Chemistry.
