Franziska Thomas participated in the 32nd European Peptide Symposium held in Athens, Greece from 2-7th September and gave a talk at the Dr Bert L Schram Young Investigators Mini Symposium.
From the 55 young researchers who applied for a talk, 12 were selected and 2 were finally awarded with the Young Investigators Dr Bert L. Schram Award. Her talk was entitled "De novo designed heterodimeric coiled coils - Useful tools for synthetic biology and biomaterials design".
The Award was sponsored by the ESCOM Science Foundation. The certificate was presented to Franziska by Professor George Kokotos, the chairman of the 32EPS.
