Bristol Chemistry gains Athena SWAN Bronze Award

The School of Chemistry has been awarded a Bronze Athena SWAN Department Award.

Athena SWAN Bronze Award
The Athena SWAN Charter recognises and celebrates good employment practice for women working in science, engineering and technology (SET) in higher education and research.

Congratulations to everyone who worked hard on this - particularly to Tim Gallagher for championing the project, and to Professor Chris Willis and Dr Carmen Galan who worked tirelessly to produce all the documentation. Thanks also to Andrew Orr-Ewing, Simon Hall, Wuge Briscoe, Helen Pritchard-Smith and Kara Ranaghan in Chemistry, and also to Annela Seddon in Physics and Tracy Brunnock and Imogen Barfield in HR for their valuable contribution.
