Stephanie (and a student from the University of Southern California) were each presented with their certificates and prize money by Conference Chair Professor Piero Casavecchia (Perugia) at the Discussion dinner under the watchful gaze of  Nobel Laureate Professor John Polanyi (Toronto) and some 100 other delegates.

The Discussion itself, entitled "Molecular Reaction Dynamics in Gases, Liquids and Interfaces", took place in Assisi from 25-27 June and was Mike Ashfold's last Faraday Discussion as president of the Faraday division of the RSC.
