Pupils from secondary schools gain valuable hands-on laboratory experience
One of the longest running outreach events takes place 25 -29 June. This residential summer school sees students from the UK and Ireland spend half the week in Bristol at the School of Chemistry and the second half at Trinity College, Dublin.
The summer school is in its 7th year with some years having two such residential courses.
The school students aged 16-18 have a mixture of lab work, lectures, tours, competitions and social events.
