Robin Porter (Visiting Professor) recently travelled to Shanghai as Adviser to an ESRC project on 'Low-carbon innovation in China' which is
based at Lancaster University. The delegation attended a conference on 'Risk, Finance and Modernization'.
Robin also was an invited speaker at the Wilton Park conference on 'Sustainable Development in China' organized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in early October. His subject was 'Food Security in China'.
