PhD students

Patent law and Intellectual Property (IP) combines law with a technical understanding of particular patents. If you enjoy office-based work, understanding the technical intricacies of new products, have an eye for detail, and can work professionally with clients, this could be a very rewarding profession. STEM PhD graduates are particularly highly sought after as Patent Attorneys and/or Scientific Advisors.
