CReSS: Excess Treatment Costs and the SoECAT form
Elinor Griffiths (Research Grants Manager) and Margie Berrow [Study Support Service Manager, CRN West of England, NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN)]
Tutorial Room 4, Education and Research Centre, Upper Maudlin Street
Hosted by the Clinical Research Start-up and Support (CReSS) group
UHBristol Clinical Research Start-up and peer Support (CReSS) workshops are for staff or students (from any discipline) currently managing a grant/project, or who are new to research and want to learn more. The purpose is to provide informal support and practical advice for anyone applying for funding or who is managing a research project that is relevant to staff or patients at UHBristol. The workshops are open to people employed by UHBristol, UoB or UWE.
Talks cover a range of practical topics from active researchers and experts in research practice. These hour-long lunchtime sessions are informal and welcoming with plenty of opportunities for open discussion and asking questions. Although the aim is to support new researchers at UHBristol, all staff are welcome to attend.
