A University of Bristol Project, with national hydrology and biogeochemistry modelling work led by Geographical Science's Jim Freer, has an over-subscribed conference.
EVO is holding an international conference on 16 May 2012 in London on 'Harnessing Emerging Technologies for Environmental Science' at the Royal Geographical Society.
This conference will explore how new information technologies, and in particular the cloud, can be best used in the environmental sector.
International speakers include those from the EU, UK Government, the IT industry, and the academic and research sector.
The conference will be of considerable interest to environmental policy makers, UK industry and consultants and environmental researchers.
This event is currently over subscribed with some 160 people attending and includes speakers from NERC, DEFRA, industry, societies, and Environment Agency.
