Tours of the Botanic Garden are a popular way for groups of ten or more people to visit and learn more about the Garden.

These can be enjoyed throughout the year and outside normal opening times by prior appointment.

Tours are hosted by the Garden’s team of trained volunteer guides who explain about the history and work of the Garden and introduce the plant collections.

Tours take around 1 hour 30 minutes, require a mininmum of ten people and cost £7.00 per adult (which includes the normal adult entry fee).

Refreshments can be available by prior arrangement.

The Garden is largely accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters with a designated path leading around the Garden and glasshouses. Disabled toilet facilities are available on site.

Dogs: only registered disability assistance dogs are permitted in the Garden.
