National Garden Scheme open day

25 June 2017, 10.00 AM - 25 June 2017, 4.30 PM

University of Bristol Botanic Garden

Visit the Garden on our National Garden Scheme open day this year.

All the usual delights in the Garden with organic flowing network of paths which lead visitors through collections of Mediterranean flora, rare natives, useful plants (including European and Chinese herbs) and those that illustrate plant evolution.  Large floral diversity displays illustrate pollination and flowering plant evolution. The garden will be ablaze with summer colour.  Do not miss the glasshouses, home to the Giant Amazon Waterlily, tropical fruit, medicinal plants, orchids and cacti. Unique Sacred Lotus collection. There will also be special tours of the Garden throughout the day and refreshments from the extremely tasty Chandos deli; we look forward to seeing you in the Garden!

Gates open at 10am until 5 pm

Admission: Adults £4.50 (as advertised for this event only).  As this is a fundraising event for charity, the usual free entry entitlement to Friends, University staff, students etc does not apply; free to children under 18.
