How to shoot autumn pictures with Graham Parish

28 October 2017, 10.00 AM - 28 October 2017, 4.00 PM

University of Bristol Botanic Garden

A not to be missed opportunity for a small group interested in plant and garden photography to spend a day working with a professional photographer.  Join Graham for a guided walk around the Botanic Garden to identify autumn highlights followed by the opportunity to capture your own images with guidance from the tutor. The day will conclude with an informal, friendly discussion of your selected images and a chance to ask questions.

Anyone wishing to improve their digital outdoor photography should benefit from this day. An understanding of the basics of photography would be an advantage. You will need to know the basic functions of your camera.

What to bring:

Camera, tripod, an empty memory card and a spare if desired, lenses, spare batteries and memory stick and appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for the prevailing weather!  Ideally you will have a DSLR camera which gives some degree of use control over the functions but those with a ‘point and shoot’ compact are also welcome as while they may not be able to undertake all the techniques covered during the day they will learn how to become more creative with their camera.

12 places available.
