Events throughout the summer on the floating ballast seed garden.

5 September 2015, 2.30 PM - 5 September 2015, 2.30 PM

Tours run throughout the summer from 4th July until 5th September with boats departing from the Arnolfini at Bristol's historic floating harbour.

The Ballast seed garden is a converted grain barge nestled on the water below Castle Park. It is planted with examples of flora from around the world that grew in the soil and rubble that was used as ships ballast and discarded on the harbourside during Bristol's maritime past.

The Botanic Garden and Arnolfini are running a series of tours to the barge throughout the summer featuring Nigel Dunnett, Botanic Garden curator Nick Wray and the Floating Cinema Tour with Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie.
