Working with clinicians

Collaboration between the University and the National Health Service

The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute actively builds links with partners in our local health community and across the National Health Service (NHS). This includes working with Bristol Health Partners to support Health Integration Teams that involve University of Bristol researchers. If you want to know more about this area of our activity please contact Lisa King, our EBI-BHP Alliance Manager.

We also support the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC).

Our scheme Research for Health challenge encourages healthcare practitioners and University of Bristol researchers to work together to develop innovative thinking around clinical problems.

We also work closely with the new NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre, a partnership between University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Bristol.
