New Early Career Researchers Advisory Board for Wellcome Open Research
30 June 2019
Wellcome Open Research have announced the new Early Career Researchers Advisory Board and the launch of article collections.
The new Early Career Researchers Advisory Board represents the needs and aspirations of early career researchers, making sure the voices of the next generation are heard and catalyse reform in publishing research. The members come from many different research areas and represent a vast array of fields of expertise. You can read more about the Board and its members here.
Wellcome Open Research also announced the launch of article collections. These collections provide an opportunity for Wellcome-funded conferences, research groups and communities to collate their content and provide a dedicated home for related published material. If you think that you or your community could benefit from this then please do get in touch with email@example.com.
Wellcome Open Research provides all Wellcome-funded researchers with a place to rapidly publish any results they think are worth sharing. All articles benefit from immediate publication, transparent peer review and the inclusion of all source data.
All published outputs from the research funded by the Wellcome Trust must be open and accessible to everyone. Wellcome Trust are reviewing their Open Access policy and changes will apply from 1 January 2021. Read more about current policy and changes on the Wellcome website.
