The 2017 Worldwide Universities Network Research Development Fund (RDF) Application process is now open. The Worldwide Universities Network, which includes the University of Bristol among its members, is a world leading research university network, tackling global challenges through international collaboration. The WUN Research Development Fund fosters innovative, international collaborative research and mobility programs.

What is the WUN Research Development Fund (RDF)?
The RDF offers grants of up to £10,000 to foster partnership in the network, including new members as a priority, and develop research collaborations on the four WUN Global Challenges:
Global Higher Education and Research
Public Health (non-communicable diseases)
Responding to Climate Change
Understanding Cultures

The application portal containing the 2017 RDF Guidelines and gateway for submissions can be found here.  Applications should only be submitted after carefully reading the Guidelines and consulting your local WUN Coordiantor. For the University of Bristol this is Dr Susan Jim at the Institute for Advanced Studies.

Applications are only accepted from WUN member universities.  The deadline for submission of applications is 27 October 2017 at 5pm GMT.  No applications submitted beyond this deadline will be considered.

Please note that most WUN member universities have earlier internal submission deadlines, and therefore it is strongly recommended that prospective applicants contact their local WUN Coordinator as soon as possible.
