New Research for Health Funding Scheme Launched

10 January 2014

The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute launched a ‘Research for Health’ funding scheme on 8 January 2014.

The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute launched a ‘Research for Health’ funding scheme on 8 January 2014. We are inviting doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to tell us about specific issues that they face whilst treating patients on a day-to-day basis. Whether the problem affects large numbers of patients or has a high impact on a smaller number, our researchers are ready and waiting to hear about the challenges. We have been awarded Wellcome Trust funding to facilitate collaborative working and ensure our research is steered and informed by practice. This funding will enable us to work in partnership with healthcare professionals to develop solutions to problems.
