Oxford Biotech Roundtable in partnership with Roche launch their Game Changing Innovation prize
6 August 2014
Oxford Biotech Roundtable have launched a new initiative to engage students at all levels and across different fields of study in a global innovation challenge, in partnership with Roche – a world healthcare leader. They are awarding £5,000 in prizes (6,000 EURO or 8,000 USD) and the opportunity for the students to pitch their ideas to Roche Executives in Basel.
Can you imagine an innovation that could radically improve human health?
Can you think of a groundbreaking technology that could revolutionize the whole healthcare industry in 10 to 20 years from now in a similar way that cars changed our views on transportation in the past century?
Oxbridge Biotech Roundtable (OBR), as a global community bridging the gap between academia and industry and Roche, a world healthcare leader, are organising the ‘Game Changing Innovation’ (GCI) competition that welcomes students with provocative ideas that challenge existing assumptions about healthcare.
Share with them your ideas for a chance to win £5,000 (6000 EURO or 8000 USD) ‘Game Changing Innovation Prize’, plus the opportunity to fly to Basel and pitch your idea directly to Roche executives.
For further information or to enter the competition please visit http://www.oxbridgebiotech.com/roche/gci/
The closing date for ideas is 12 September 2014.
There is no cost to apply, and you may enter as many ideas as you like.
