"How high could a flea jump if it were as big as a human?  All sorts of estimates have been made, but it has now been put to the test.  To answer the question, BBC's Earth Unplugged, with Bristol's Dr. Gregory Sutton, have filmed fleas attempting to jump over a scale model of the Empire state building -  and use this as an example to discuss the biomechanics of such a famously powerful motion".
