Connect to a printer

Some printers can only be used by members of certain research groups.  Please contact the IT Office if you're having trouble connecting - we may need to adjust your access rights.

How to connect to a printer

C33 public computer room printers

1. Click Start, then Run.
2. Enter this line and click OK:
   \\is-print2.pcr.bris.ac.uk\
3. Double click bio-c33-bw or bio-c33-bw_output_from_colour for black & white printing. Double click bio-c33-colour for colour.

All C33 printing is charged through the University's PAS system at the standard rates. Print credit can be bought online through the Bristol Portal or from the library.

1. Click Start, then Run.
2. Enter the following line and click OK:
   \\bisc-deptprint.pcr.bris.ac.uk\
3. Double click your printer.  Examples:
   • bio-cd4-bw is a black and white printer in room CD4.
   • bio-cd4-colour is a colour printer in room CD4.
