BCAI support for Plant and Agricultural Science Fellowships at the University of Bristol

Every year BCAI offers support for early careers researchers interested in applying for independent research fellowships. BCAI support for Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships
At Bristol, we offer a collaborative, interdisciplinary and supportive research environment for independent research fellows to flourish. BCAI is offering support for early careers researchers interested in applying for the Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship to be held at University of Bristol. Candidates that are successful in their application to the Leverhulme Trust, will be awarded support in the form of funding (up to £53,500) to contribute towards the salary costs for a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship. BCAI funds are available to support a candidate at grade I (up to spine point 32- further details on University of Bristol salaries can be found here).
Process:
To be considered for BCAI and departmental support, prospective fellowship candidates are required to submit an expression of interest to uob-bcai@bristol.ac.uk by 8 January 2021. Your application should consist of a max 2-page CV, a one-page research plan, and a covering letter confirming that you are eligible for this fellowship and including a paragraph describing the relevance of your proposal to plant and agricultural science.

Plant and Agricultural Sciences Fellowships at the University of Bristol
Are you planning to apply for an Independent Fellowship?
At Bristol, we benefit from excellent facilities and host a vibrant group of plant and agricultural scientists. We offer a collaborative, interdisciplinary and supportive research environment for independent research fellows to flourish. The Bristol Centre for Agricultural Innovation (BCAI) is offering an additional £50,000 to boost project funding for three individuals that are awarded Independent Research Fellowships at the University of Bristol (such as BBSRC David Phillips Fellowships, Royal Society University Research Fellowships or UKRI Future Leader Fellowships) within the remit of plant and agricultural research.
To be considered for BCAI and departmental support, prospective fellowship candidates are required to submit an expression of interest to uob-bcai@bristol.ac.uk by 9th November 2020. Your application should consist of your CV, a covering letter (indicating which fellowship you wish to apply for and confirmation that you are eligible) and a research plan (up to 2 pages).
