Competition to design a logo for the BHI
£500 prize - Closing date 31st July 2007
The Bristol Heart Institute (BHI) is launching a competition to design a new logo. This will be used on BHI publications, letterheads and this website. The logo therefore needs to be easily recognisable, and designed with this use in mind. Entrants should also be aware that the image will need to be reduced in size to appear on letterheads etc.
The Bristol Heart Institute consists of over 200 scientists and clinicians throughout the university of Bristol and associated NHS trusts, and aims to improve current understanding and treatment of heart disease by translating basic research into clinical practice.
To enter:
The competition is only open to staff and students of the University of Bristol and Bristol NHS Trusts. Any materials or software programme can be used to design the logo, but the final format needs to be digital (preferably jpg), and must be an original design. Ownership of the winning image will then reside with the Bristol Heart Institute (University of Bristol). Entrants are encouraged to look at the BHI website to get an idea of the research and aims of the BHI: www.bris.ac.uk/bhi
Images should be sent via email (as an attachment) to Dr. Elinor Griffiths:
Elinor.Griffiths@bris.ac.uk
Images will be displayed on the website to allow all BHI members to vote, and a final decision made by the steering committee in September.
