Dr. Christopher Jackson elected secretary of the BSCR
Dr. Chris Jackson of the Bristol Heart Institute will take over as Secretary of the British Society for Cardiovascular Research (BSCR) from January 1st 2008. He has been a BSCR committee member since 2005, and is also on the committee of the British Atherosclerosis Society.
The BSCR was first established in 1973 and now has over 450 members, both basic scientists and clinicians. The Society organises two main meetings each year; smaller workshops are also organised by members of the society.
