The Biogeochemistry Laboratories are based in the Department of Earth Sciences.

The research group, headed by Dr Ed Hornibrook, applies stable isotope techniques to answering key questions in the areas of the biogeochemistry of wetlands carbon-cycling in anaerobic environments and low-temperature mineralization in anaerobic systems
