William Wootten's poetry featured in the Spectator Magazine

William Wootten, poet and co-director of the Bristol Poetry Institute, is featured in the current edition of the Spectator.
William Woottens's poem, 'Melcombe Regis', appears in the latest edition of the Spectator. Dr Wootten is Lecturer in Creative Writing and Contemporary Poetry in the Department of English. His debut collection of poetry, You Have A Visitor, appeared in 2016 from the Worple Press. His monograph, The Alvarez Generation: Thom Gunn, Geoffrey Hill, Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath, and Peter Porter (Liverpool University Press, 2015) was nominated for the University English Book Prize 2016.
