A.G. Leventis Fellowship in Ancient Greek Studies offers an exciting opportunity to pursue a programme of advanced research under the auspices of the world-ranking Institute of Greece, Rome, and the Classical Tradition.
We invite applications from scholars of any specialisation within the broad field of ancient Greek studies. Applicants will have normally completed their PhD no more than five years before taking up the post. The successful candidate will have proven ability as a researcher of international standing. It is expected that the successful candidate will take up the appointment, which is of three years’ duration, from 1 September 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Longlisted candidates will be notified by Friday 29 April 2016. Named referees will be asked to send letter of supports for the candidates by a specified date. Candidates will be required to submit a sample of their work (in English, c. 5,000–8,000 words) as soon after notification as possible and no later than Monday 9 May 2016. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by Tuesday 24 May 2016 and invited to interview on Tuesday 7 June 2016.
