Correcting quotes.

In this exercise you will be given a series of quotes, which have been incorrectly punctuated. You will need to copy and paste the quotes into the answer box and correct the punctuation.

As she enters the palace, Scarlet thinks to herself 'the keys to the castle could be here in my heart' (The Keys to the Castle, p121)

You need to add a comma before the quotation and a full stop after the reference.

The correct answer should be:

Smith argues that the, 'hidden hand' of market forces will inevitably: 'produce the optimum distribution of resources in society (Wealth of Nations)'.

The comma before 'hidden hand' and the colon before 'produce...' are both wrong. The final quote mark needs to come at the end of the quote.

The correct answer should be:
