Drinking Spaces and Places Symposium

23 April 2016, 10.00 AM - 23 April 2016, 6.00 PM

Link Rooms 1 and 2, 3-5 Woodland Road

The symposium will focus on the places and spaces associated with drinking. We seek papers addressing the ways in which real and imagined spaces of alcohol consumption are detailed and represented in historical material, literary and artistic works, and geographic data and maps. We wish to identify and discuss patterns or relations between the ways in which drinking spaces have been presented and understood in different times, places and mediums.
