Calling all votes for Archaeology
23 December 2015
The University of Bristol project at Berkeley Castle has been shortlisted as the Research Project of the Year, in the Current Archaeology Live! Festival and it needs your vote to win. The excavations, which have been running since 2005, have uncovered a wealth of history - indeed an unbroken record of English history for some 1500 years in a single trench.
For more information, please see the University News article. The project team are calling on everyone to vote for the project from the six that have been shortlisted. Previous winners have included Richard III, Stonehenge Riverside project and Maryport.
Voting is on-line at http://www.archaeology.co.uk/vote and the results will be announced on February 26th.
