Visit days

Congratulations on your offer to study with us. Visit days are a great opportunity for you to meet current staff and students, see the facilities we have to offer and find out for yourself why so many students choose Bristol.

Structure of the day

Bristol offers a great academic experience, set in one of the UK's most vibrant, dynamic and beautiful cities. Choosing a university is a very personal decision and experiencing a 'day in the life' of a Bristol student at a visit day is an excellent way to find out if Bristol is the right choice for you.

In the morning, staff from all of our support services will be on hand to answer your questions at the visit day exhibition in the Wills Memorial Building. You can attend a welcome talk, delivered by a senior member of the University, plus a talk about student finance. Tours of four of our student residences and campus tours run throughout the morning. You'll spend the afternoon in your potential new school/department, which will give you a taste of life as a student on your chosen course. You can find out more about your specific academic session on the course-specific information page.
