Insight into Bristol Summer School: Centre for Applied Anatomists host potential medical students
18 July 2017
On Tuesday 18 July our talented Outreach team of anatomists, led by Dr Sarah Gosling, hosted 40 potential medical students aged 16-17 for the day as part of the Insight into Bristol Summer School.
As part of a joint initiative with the School of Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience, students attended learning sessions on “Anatomy of ECG’s” (cardiorespiratory anatomy) followed by another session in the format of the Access to Bristol courses with a broader range of specimens on show.
Insight into Bristol Summer School offers students the choice of attending practicals on subjects from Arts to Science, to give them the opportunity to work with academics and current students and receive advice and guidance on what areas of study they wish to pursue.
"I would like to sincerely thank you for the opportunity to be part of the Insight into Bristol programe. I learned so much and it has really reinforced my interest and passion to study biomedical sciences further at university."
