Centre for Applied Anatomy Outreach Team present at the Festival of Nature
10 June 2017
The Outreach team took the Skeleton zoo to the Festival of Nature that was held on the 10th – 11th June in Bristol Harbourside, where members of the public were able to explore skeletal adaptations in both humans and animals.
Most popular exhibits of the day were the Wallaby, Penguin and Elephant Mandible.
Our 'ask an anatomist' area was on hand to help adults and children learn more about the fascinating world of adaptation.
During the event, BBC Radio Bristol interviewed our Outreach Co-ordinator Sarah Gosling as part of their 'clueless' programme. You can listen to Dr Sarah Gosling’s interview to Radio Bristol for "Clueless with Richard Lewis": http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p054dc1y
