What do you get out of becoming a demonstrator?

Being a demonstrator is an ideal opportunity to improve your knowledge of anatomy, whether for your own personal development or in preparation for exams.  On a regular basis you will have the opportunity to attend an afternoon of teaching lead by either an in-house anatomist or a visiting surgeon/clinician. These sessions aim to help prepare you for the upcoming teaching, and also to aid your learning towards postgraduate exams.

You will gain a considerable amount of teaching experience during the post. On arrival you will be given some in-house teacher training, then within the first few weeks of teaching will be observed and receive a report for your records.
