Engaging with stakeholders and industry

Bristol AMR researchers work with business and industry to help drive the translation of research outcomes and effect policy change

Engaging stakeholders and industry with our AMR research

Members of the Bristol AMR research community work with partners in pharma, farming, the food industry and also organisations such as the  Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture (RUMA) and government agencies (e.g. the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, NHS, UK Health Security Agency (UKSHA) and the dstl).

Bristol AMR has hosted industry days in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network SW (with the University's Knowledge Exchange team, Innovate UK, the Medicines Discovery Catalyst, the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and SETsquared) to help researchers bridge the gap between their academic research, translation and commercialisation of their discoveries.

The University of Bristol has launched two spin-out companies to further develop technologies invented by AMR researchers to benefit patient health and help combat the rise of global AMR.
