As a Telethon Fundraiser, your role is to ask Bristol graduates for charitable donations towards the University. You will also talk to them about what is currently happening at Bristol and answer any queries they may have. You can read more about the projects the telethon helps fund on our how you help pages.
Being a Telethon Fundraiser requires fluent English. If you are looking for employment to improve your English language skills, please contact the Careers Service who may be able to offer you alternative choices for you.
The Autumn 2015 campaign runs from 26 October - 6 December 2015, during the following hours:
You will be paid £7.65 per hour plus an extra 12.07 per cent holiday pay bonus which will be paid in a lump sum at the end of the campaign on completion of your contract. All students are paid on a monthly basis on the 26th of the month. Callers are required to work an average of three shifts per week.

Applications will open on Friday 11 September. The deadline for applications is Thursday 8 October and interviews will take place on Tuesday 13 - Thursday 15 October. If you are unable to attend an interview on the dates we advertise, we will not be able to consider your application. Your application will be acknowledged by email within three days of its submission.
It is a condition of employment that all successful applicants attend the training sessions which take place in the week before calling starts. The 2015/16 Spring campaign group training sessions will be on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Applicants must also attend one of the software training sessions which will take place on Thursday 22 October from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm and Saturday 24 October from 11 am to 2 pm and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
