John is a retired Professor of Dermatology at Bristol University. He published six successful medical textbooks while working. Why Man Made Gods and Dogs is his second book for the general reader, the first being Six Hundred Miseries, the Seventeenth Century Womb.
All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to the National Eczema Society to support their programme of research into childhood eczema.
